General Conditions: Part A. 1. This competition is being conducted by Virbac Australia PTY LTD ABN 77 003 268 871. 2. Information on how to enter this competition, eligibility and Prize(s) form part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering this competition, entrants confirm that they have read understood and accept these Terms and Conditions. 3. This competition commences at 9.00am AEST June 1 2010 and closes at 5.00pm AEST September 3, 2010. 4. No fee is payable for entering this competition. Eligibility. 5. Entry is open to livestock producers in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, Northern Territory, Australian Capital Territory, South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia who complete an entry form. 6. To enter the competition entrants can either i. Log onto the Virbac Proud Achievers website (www.proudachievers.com.au) and follow the links to the ‘Enter Your Story’ Page complete the form and submit their entry. ii. complete a Virbac Proud Achievers Competition Entry Form and mail to “Virbac Proud Achievers“ Competition PO Box 78, South Melbourne VIC 3205. 7. Entry is limited to one entry per person. 8. All entries must be received by Virbac Australia PTY LTD by 5.00pm AEST September 3, 2010. (Closing Time). 9. Employees of Virbac Australia PTY LTD and its related bodies corporate, and their immediate families, are ineligible to enter. 10. Virbac Australia business partners and Virbac Australia Distributors, their related bodies corporate, employees and immediate families are ineligible to enter. Prizes. 11. The major prize consists of 3 International Study Tours of the winners’ choice to the value of less than or equal to $12,000 (including GST) each – economy airfares for two people, seven (7) nights accommodation, relevant conference registrations and $2,000 spending money will be included. The study tour may include, but not be limited to, a relevant industry related event, field/site tour(s), on‐farm demonstrations. The itinerary will be mutually agreed to by both the winners and Virbac Australia. One major prize will be awarded per category. Each prize must be taken by October 30, 2011. 12. There are three categories. Sheep, Beef cattle and Dairy cattle. Six minor prizes of a $1500 (RRP) incl. GST worth of Virbac products will be awarded to one producer per state (QLD/NT, NSW/ACT, VIC, TAS, SA, WA). Each of the six winners will have the opportunity to select the products, up to the $1,500 value, from the 2010 Virbac Livestock Price List. 13. The total prize pool including minor prizes is valued at $45,000.00 (RRP) incl.GST. Determination of the winners 14. This competition is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the identity of the prize winners. All entries received will be judged on their merit against a set criteria and the entry judged to be the best in its category will be the winner of the major prize. 15. A panel of judges will be appointed to review the entries. The judging panel will include representation from the major sponsor, Rural Press Limited and Virbac Australia Pty Ltd. Information provided in the entry form will be reviewed by the judging panel. If required, a farm visit to any of the top ranking entrants may occur. 16. From the information provided in the entry form, questionnaire and farm visits, judging panels will assess each entrant on aspects from the following criteria, BEEF: Reproductive Efficiency, Productivity, Health Management. DAIRY: Reproductive Efficiency, Productivity, Health Management . SHEEP: Drench Resistance Management, Reproductive Efficiency, Growth Rates in Young Stock.. More detail on the criteria can be viewed at www.proudachievers.com.au. After completion of this, nominees will proceed to the final stages of the competition to determine the major prize winner per category. 17. The winners will be notified by mail, and announced in Rural Press publications and presented by a Rural Press and Virbac Australia representative by October 30, 2010. 18. All major prize winners will not be eligible to enter the competition for one year after receiving the award. General conditions: 19. Virbac Australia reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries. 20. The prizes are not transferrable and are not redeemable for cash or services or other Virbac Australia products. 21. Virbac Australia’s determination as to the entrants who are the winners of all prizes is final and cannot be contested. No correspondence will be entered into. 22. Virbac Australia accepts no liability for late, delayed receipt of, lost, incomprehensible, corrupt, incomplete or misdirected entries, entries which are not received by Virbac Australia, or entries which are received by Virbac Australia after the Closing Time for any reason whatsoever (including but not limited to technical issues with the www.proudachievers.com.au website). 23. If this competition is not capable of running as planned for any reason beyond the control of Virbac Australia, then Virbac Australia may cancel or postpone the competition. 24. Virbac Austraila may in its discretion amend or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time. 25. Virbac Australia shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) for any personal injury suffered or sustained, in connection with redeeming a prize or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 26. Entrants consent to Virbac Australia using the entrants name, address, other details and photo in the event that the entrant is successful in receiving a prize in any media or promotional material for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome).
